01.06.2010 - TITAL – Large titanium casting facility: approved and expanded
By installing their new large titanium casting facility in December 2008, TITAL has broadened their product range and has been awarded new orders from its international clientele. At the same time the company has further strengthened its position as a strategic supplier for Airbus France. 28.05.2010 - TITAL expands in Russia
TITAL GmbH located in Bestwig, Germany has now expanded into the Russian aerospace market. Structural components made from titanium investment castings are now being built for the SaM 146 engine. A follow-on order for another 15 castings is pending and will be placed soon. This additional order will bring TITAL several million dollars of revenue from this strategically important customer. More large and complex components for the SaM 146 engine will follow. TITAL is continuing to expand its position as a supplier for large titanium and aluminum investment castings in Russia. 25.05.2010 - TITAL shows high-tech-turbine components at ILA
he titanium and aluminum investment casting specialist TITAL GmbH presents its latest research innovation at the International Aviation Exhibition (ILA Berlin) from June 8 to 13 in Berlin. The innovation is a light and environmentally friendly turbine blade made from titanium-aluminide. During the past several months TITAL has increased its investments into research efforts in order to facilitate the future take-off of planes that are more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. 28.04.2010 - High temperature-resistant turbine blades made from titanium aluminide
The partnership between Access, an institute at the RWTH Aachen, and TITAL GmbH, the specialist investment casting company based in Bestwig, has taken a major step forward. Wednesday, 28 April is the date set for the commissioning of a new melting and casting plant for production of blades made of titanium aluminide in Aachen. Series production of these turbine parts (overall size, or edge length, ranging up to 300 mm) is planned to go ahead in 2013. Lire la suite
