The titanium and aluminum investment casting specialist TITAL is the first European supplier in the aviation and aerospace industry allowed to use digital radiography as a certified method of quality testing. The company based in Bestwig passed the process audit for digital radiography according to Nadcap checklist AC 7114/6 without a single NCR (non-conformity reports). more

21.03.2013 - TITAL starting series production in 2nd quarter 2013 in China
„TITAL Nantong is making some good progress. We plan to start series production in the second quarter 2013“, states Managing Director Philipp Schack who is very optimistic following his last visit to the TITAL production site in China. The German titanium and aluminum investment casting specialist has been setting up the production site since the middle of last year in Nantong, a city of two million inhabitants at about 75 miles from Shanghai. more
15.02.2013 - TITAL producing for AgustaWestland
TITAL, the investment casting specialist from Bestwig, Germany, was able to realise an order for the renowned helicopter manufacturer AgustaWestland within a very short development cycle. TITAL initially produced prototype aluminum gearbox parts for the AW 149, AW 169 and AW 189 of the Anglo-Italian helicopter company and meanwhile started series production. more
24.05.2012 - TITAL manufactures Stiffening Elements for Airbus A350XWB
Since the summer of 2011 the titanium and aluminum investment casting specialist TITAL has supplied titanium components for the Keel Beam for the Airbus A350XWB. The Keel Beam is a large structural component located on the bottom side of the aircraft fuselage directly behind the landing gear compartment. This area of the aircraft has a particularly sturdy design and has to bear massive mechanical stress. more

In January the company based in Bestwig, Germany, held a number of workshops with various Chinese system manufacturers in the sectors of aircraft structure and aviation electronics. more
08.12.2010 - Unique Titanium Component for A400M received an award
Through the use of innovative production and process techniques the investment casting specialist TITAL was able to develop in cooperation with renowned project partners a new and very complex titanium investment casting component for the military carrier A400M. Besides TITAL the CASSIDIAN company located in Manching / Bavaria and Premium Aerotec located in Augsburg were part of the interdisciplinary project team. more
