25.01.2011 - TITAL active on Chinese Market
Having participated in the international aerospace trade fair „Airshow China“ in November TITAL, the German specialist for titanium and aluminium investment casting, plans the next step in order to gain further ground on the Chinese market. In January the company based in Bestwig, Germany, held a number of workshops with various Chinese system manufacturers in the sectors of aircraft structure and aviation electronics.  more

08.12.2010 - Unique Titanium Component for A400M received an award
Through the use of innovative production and process techniques the investment casting specialist TITAL was able to develop in cooperation with renowned project partners a new and very complex titanium investment casting component for the military carrier A400M. Besides TITAL the CASSIDIAN company located in Manching / Bavaria and Premium Aerotec located in Augsburg were part of the interdisciplinary project team.  more

28.10.2010 - Topology optimization of titanium components
TITAL GmbH, specialist for titanium and aluminum investment castings, strengthens its cutting edge regarding innovative product development processes for the aerospace industry. Using topology optimization and conversion in the investment casting process, the company located in Germany was able to reduce the weight of a titanium component by 30 percent. more

05.07.2010 - TITAL now with HERO-Premium-Casting® in Japan
The fourth casting facility worldwide that produces aluminum castings using the HERO-Premium-Casting®-process has been put into operation in Japan. The patented casting process was developed in the 90’s from the investment casting specialist TITAL GmbH located in Bestwig, Germany. more

24.06.2010 - TITAL’s Titanium Castings Strong in Motorsports
In 2010 TITAL is supplying well-known teams of the Formula One racing circuit with gearboxes, wheel carriers, engine and chassis components made from precision aluminum and titanium castings. TITAL also supports customers from the ALMS / Le Mans, DTM, GT and MotoGP racing series. 01.06.2010 - TITAL – Large titanium casting facility: approved and expanded
By installing their new large titanium casting facility in December 2008, TITAL has broadened their product range and has been awarded new orders from its international clientele. At the same time the company has further strengthened its position as a strategic supplier for Airbus France. In the meantime a new centrifugal casting facility for large components has been installed. more

28.05.2010 - TITAL expands in Russia
TITAL GmbH located in Bestwig, Germany has now expanded into the Russian aerospace market. Structural components made from titanium investment castings are now being built for the SaM 146 engine. A follow-on order for another 15 castings is pending and will be placed soon. This additional order will bring TITAL several million dollars of revenue from this strategically important customer. More large and complex components for the SaM 146 engine will follow. TITAL is continuing to expand its position as a supplier for large titanium and aluminum investment castings in Russia. more
